Yeah! That's right it's not all about diet it is about changing your life style.
A total rethink about the way you see yourself and the way you think. Diet and exercise are important that goes without saying. We are what we eat. But I believe we need to get all the stepping stones in the right order first. Starting at step one. If there is one thing you are going to change, change this!
Step One:
“Get the head right...and the rest will follow “
This cannot be underestimated. This is why most people just give up and quit, they haven’t got the first principle.
Why?
Because they are not motivated, they haven’t got the right mind set. Their head is in the wrong place. Call it what you will.
You know what I’m talking about here; people say to themselves this is it! The day I start to do something about losing weight, they are totally pumped up and rearing to go.
Step Two:
Realistic Goal Setting
This is great, fantastic! But this is where so many people go wrong they have false expectations or unrealistic goal set for them. Does this sound like you? For example they get out there on the streets come back dripping in sweat (more on this in a future article) only to find they haven't lost an ounce. Why would they? They never put the extra weight on overnight, so why would you expect to lose it in a day. See what I mean? Unrealistic goal setting which makes them feel so deflated that in a short time they change from being “Pumped” to giving up.
It’s so sad to see. The thing is it doesn’t have to be that way.
Step Three:
Back to Basics
Get the basics right, will make things so much easier and clearer when your dieting and exercising in the correct manner. You will stay the course, and reap the benefits.
Step Four:
Well… there isn't a step four that's Optional
